We each have the power to create the life we want to be living. Join us and set your intentions for 2020.
It has become my annual ritual to find time at the beginning of the year to reflect on the previous year and figure out what is working in my life, or not working as the case may be; with that information I move forward with a game plan for the year ahead.
The term Law of Attraction, also referred to as LOA, is a simple Universal Law: like attracts like. Based on our frequency we draw to us that which is of the same frequency or vibration. When we are in a state of gratitude and joy we attract joyful experiences. The more positive an outlook we create, the more we become aligned with positive experiences. Change your thoughts, change your life.
We’ll look at the patterns we have created in our lives, we’ll look at the challenges and triumphs of 2019. What worked for us and what didn’t. Then we’ll look ahead. We’ll look at the astrological forecast for 2020, working to have the planets support us. We’ll look to the tarot and numerology for guidance.
Once we have figured out our objectives for 2020 through meditation, affirmations and sacred writing, you’ll dress a white pull out candle with sacred symbols, glitter, herbs and oils to use as a focal point in the coming year, to support you in manifesting the life you desire.
This is what you need to do BEFORE you come to the class:
Before we look at what we want to create, let’s look at what we have already created.
Begin by constructing an overview of the previous year. This is going to be a month by month outline of the events and happenings in the many facets of your life: work, play, relationships, health and fitness, spirituality, education, and so forth. Write down both the major happenings in your life and your routine activities. Use your calendar, datebook, journal; even your Facebook’s year in review is helpful. Note in your outline for example, how many times a week you went to the gym or to yoga. Take note of the ways you tended to your relationships and spent time with loved ones. Be sure to write down all the ways you nurtured yourself and your interests.
Try looking at the facets of your life as different slices of pie, their individual size is determined by the amount of time you devote to each. In this way you can determine just how you’d like to adjust the size of each slice for the year ahead. The point of this outline and the pie graph is self-discovery.
Woven into the events of our lives are clues regarding how we nurture and take care of ourselves. This in turn, reflects how we feel about ourselves and the world around us. Becoming aware of patterns and thought processes that keep you stuck is imperative to changing them. Until you change the underlying negative belief about yourself, your circumstances, your worthiness and your abilities, you will continue to fall short of your desires.
This is your starting point.
Please bring with you:
- A sheet or two of paper that is special – handmade paper, pretty stationary – something that feels magical to you
- A pen – this may be a magical writing instrument used for just your sacred working, a pen which writes in a color you like, etc.
- An envelope to go with this paper
- A journal
This is a long afternoon, we would welcome any healthy snacks and homemade goodies.
