Qi Gong is a powerful type of health exercise which has been practiced for centuries by millions of Chinese people. It is based on repetitions of very precise sets of movements, specifically designed to benefit health on many levels.
It is a time-honored practice that uses breath and movement to harness the energies of Nature (Qi) for:
- Total Health
- Clarity of Mind
- Emotional Balance
With each inhale, you build strength. With each exhale, you detoxify and relax. In this way, you harmonize your Body/Mind/Spirit. And over time, you begin to spontaneously and gracefully express your true nature.
There are numerous benefits to practicing Qi Gong such as, but not limited to, increasing physical strength, improving mental clarity, promoting longevity and being more calm and centered.
This will be a beginner Qi Gong class experience in which all who attend will be able to easily perform all the various movements and exercises we will be doing.
NOTE: Please wear loose comfortable clothing to be able to bend, stretch and move about comfortably such as yoga pants, jogging pants or sweat pants as well as a loose comfortable tee-shirt. You can practice barefoot or wear comfortable sneakers or loafers whichever is comfortable for you. Bring a bottle of water to remain hydrated.
