History & Folklore

According to legend, a mine in Bolivia was located at the border of two different territories – one controlled by the Inca empire and the other by the Spanish conquistadors. The Incan ruler who controlled the mine was gifted a piece of ametrine as a sign of respect and admiration by the Spanish conquistador. The ruler, amazed by the stone’s unique properties, declared it to be a sacred gem and gifted it to the high priests to use in their spiritual rituals. The unique blend of energy, combined with the spectacular color, enhances all its spiritual and healing properties.
