Lodolite is sometimes referred to as “garden quartz” because its appearance is similar to a miniature garden, with inclusions that resemble plants, flowers, or landscapes. This is why it is associated with the natural world and can be used for grounding and connecting with the earth. It also offers us a window into another world and aids in the shifting of our consciousness. Many call Lodolite the “Shaman’s Dream Stone” as it is used often in journey work and travel to other dimensions. Lodolite can be used to enhance meditation and facilitate communication with higher realms. Its inclusions act as a portal, allowing you to connect with spirit guides, angels, or ancestors. It is said to enhance intuition and psychic abilities, supporting you to develop your spiritual gifts.
Lodolite is a type of clear quartz with inclusions of many other minerals often unidentifiable. This gives each piece a unique, mystical appearance. The inclusions can be any color, but are often green, red, orange, or yellow. A Brazilain friend told me once that Lodolite is a Portuguese word meaning “mineral mud” as they can’t tell you exactly which minerals are included in any given specimen.
Lodolite is a great stone to use in crystal grids as it enhances the other stones energies and properties. It is especially effective when combined with other healing stones such as Epidote and Carnelian, as it can amplify their energy and add a layer of complexity to their healing properties. It also works well with stones that promote spiritual growth and intuition, such as Amethyst and Labradorite.
