It is formed from the remains of ancient single-cell organisms that lived in the Earth’s primordial seas and is classified as a type of coal. It is found in very ancient layers of the Earth’s crust that were formed before life forms existed on Earth. It is a unique mineral that contains fullerenes, a form of carbon that has powerful antioxidant and detoxifying properties.
