Geological Information

Sodalite is a deep blue mineral that typically forms as a secondary mineral in igneous rocks, such as syenites and nepheline syenites. It is composed of sodium, aluminum, silicon, and oxygen and is a member of the feldspathoid group of minerals and is often found with white lines of calcite.
