Description
Isis, the most beloved goddess from Ancient Egypt, is the goddess of Magic. She is known today by her Greek name Isis; however, the ancient Egyptians called her Aset. Her name translates to “Queen of the Throne” which is shown in her headdress, which is usually a throne.
Written in the book The Union of Isis and Thoth, Isis is the mother of every pharaoh and of every human child. Her stories include events in the life cycle of nearly every woman on earth – as sister, lover, wife, mother, widow, friend, healer, protector, teacher, and magician.
With Isis, we recognize ourselves as embodiments of that divine being; the portals through which the mysteries manifest.
