This series is being taught by Rhianna Mirabello:
In the fall of 1997, Rhianna Mirabello received the Reiki Master Teacher attunement from Ashling Kelly, a student of Diane Stein, author of “Essential Reiki” which has created a foundation for an enriching healing and teaching practice. Her reiki training also encompasses Karuna Reiki and attunements by Usui Reiki Masters. While Essential Reiki is central to the instruction, the classes benefit from decades of personal experience with clients and students, integrating both Essential and Traditional Usui Reiki practices.
A notable experience occurred in January 2003, when Northern Dutchess Hospital permitted Rhianna to practice Reiki in the operating room during a friend’s surgery. Positioned at the patient’s head alongside the anesthesiologist, Rhianna was able to infuse and charge the room, utensils, staff, and the patient with healing Reiki energy throughout the procedure. This powerful experience was transformative for everyone involved. The medical staff reported feeling rejuvenated, and the patient experienced a remarkable recovery with minimal pain. This significant event was documented in The Reiki Times, Vol. 8 Issue 1.
