Journeying Together
Shamanic Journeying is an ancient practice for awakening spiritual insight and deepening your connection to the unseen world. With the steady pulse of the drum as our guide, David Beck will lead us in transcending ordinary awareness to meet the compassionate helping spirits that surround and support us.
Gather with us regularly to explore new techniques, deepen your personal practice, and strengthen your connection to the spirit realms while being supported by the wisdom of an experienced guide and the power of community.
You Will Need
Participants should bring:
- A blanket or mat if you would like for sitting and lying down. Back jacks and chairs are available.
- Eye covering – like a bandana or blindfold for journeying.
- Journal or notebook for recording your experiences.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
About David Beck
David Beck has been walking the path of shamanism for over 25 years, guiding others with wisdom, heart, and a deep reverence for the natural world. A lifelong naturalist rooted in New York’s Hudson Valley, David weaves together his extensive knowledge of local Native American culture, wilderness survival, tracking, and orienteering to help people reconnect with the land and their own innate instincts.
For over two decades, he has shared these teachings with both children and adults, igniting curiosity and respect for the wild places—both within and around us. His passion lies in helping others remember their place in nature and rekindle the ancient connection between human and earth.
David is also a musician and storyteller, having sung with and composed original songs for the Nimham Mountain Singers, a Unity Drum that honors Native American traditions through music and community. His work is a bridge—between generations, between worlds, and between the seen and unseen.
A Note From David
“In our modern world, there seems to be so much conflict between people regarding spiritual beliefs. I believe that the technique of journeying holds one key to this problem. I have journeyed with people from many different backgrounds and although we “see” different things, we share a common bond. If the concept of journeying was used as a way for all faiths to deepen their spiritual connections, it would open an area of shared experience that each could understand. This would allow them to meet in a place of equality and possible even open their perspective. I hope that our world can come together and if journeying can be a bridge, I say we start building it today.”
