Vision Quest Journey Experience with David Beck

Many cultures around the world have long embraced the transformative practice of embarking on a vision quest. Traditionally, this sacred journey involves retreating alone into the wilderness with minimal provisions, seeking clarity, guidance, and connection with the spiritual realm.

In our upcoming class, we will recreate this profound experience through two guided shamanic journeys.

The first journey will focus on preparation—helping us center ourselves, set intentions, and connect deeply with our inner being. This foundational work ensures that we are spiritually aligned and ready to embark on the quest.

The second journey will take us into the spirit world, where we will symbolically spend four “days” traveling through the sacred directions: East, South, West, and North. Each direction holds unique wisdom and energy to guide us in answering our questions and illuminating our path. Along the way, we will gather messages, symbols, and insights, ultimately returning to record and reflect on our experiences.

Please come dressed comfortably and bring a journal or notebook to document your journey. Additionally, take time beforehand to identify a question or area in your life where you are seeking guidance. This intention will be your compass during the vision quest.

Join us for this powerful exploration of self and spirit, as we open to the wisdom of the unseen and align with the energy of the sacred directions.

Pre-requisite: You must have prior shamanic journey experience and be able to access non-ordinary reality. If you have questions about this please contact the shop via email or call during business hours.

A Note From David

“In our modern world, there seems to be so much conflict between people regarding spiritual beliefs. I believe that the technique of journeying holds one key to this problem. I have journeyed with people from many different backgrounds and although we “see” different things, we share a common bond. If the concept of journeying was used as a way for all faiths to deepen their spiritual connections, it would open an area of shared experience that each could understand. This would allow them to meet in a place of equality and possible even open their perspective. I hope that our world can come together and if journeying can be a bridge, I say we start building it today.”
