This Scorpio Full Moon promises to bring to light any hidden mysteries hiding beneath the dark water’s surface. Scorpio energy is difficult to avoid and impossible to deceive – the motives of others, and anything you are attempting to hide from (even within yourself) will be readily apparent during this moon phase. While this can prove to be an intense time – because, Scorpio – know that what is being revealed is needed, and be reminded of your own personal power as you stare down the scorpion’s tail. A fantastic way to navigate this Full Moon is to turn to your intuitive allies, welcoming their guidance. This may be utilizing your pendulum, practicing automatic writing, or turning to your favorite oracle deck for assistance.
This Moon occurs at 2 degrees Scorpio which, according to the late Isidore Kozminsky, is symbolic of Comprehension – further supporting the notion that intuitive abilities are heightened and guidance is readily available during this cycle. The Moon is also in trine to Neptune – who is at home in watery Pisces, which according to Molly Hall will help to “illuminate holds on the psyche and [offer] opportunities to dissolve them”.
With the nature of this moon, picking up the oracle deck Wisdom of the Hidden Realms seemed especially appropriate. We asked, “what guidance can you offer our community during this Full Moon?” and pulled the ally “The Eagle King” … and with beautiful synchronicity, Eagle is one of Scorpio’s symbols, or totems. As written by Colette Baron-Reid, Eagle King assures us that “you’re on the right path, even if you can’t see where you are going.” Eagle has the gift of seeing the bigger picture on our behalf, especially when things seem murky. Not only does he have wise, boundless perspective, but he also serves as a noble messenger for our prayers to the Divine. It is our task to let them go, for our highest good, whatever that may be. Know that the current astrology is supporting you in this: the already intense Scorpio Full Moon will be amplified by the fact that it is also a Blue Moon (said to be significantly more charged/powerful than your typical Full Moon); there are three major Planets in Retrograde, *and* Venus is conjunct Uranus in Taurus – this last one hasn’t happened in over 80 years. The time to see and heal whatever is coming up for you – or around you – is now.
Inherently positive and pure, Citrine is a perfect stone for someone just beginning to use crystals and gemstones for healing. It is also a foundational piece for the experienced healer. Reminiscent of the golden, generous sun, Citrine healing stones are meant to instill happiness, joy, and goodness. They also have powerful purifying and revitalizing properties, making Citrine an ideal stone for anyone seeking the beneficial energy of crystals.
Like sunlight, Citrine energizes and encourages. Wearing Citrine jewelry is like having a positive force around, inspiring confidence and goodwill. It is also an overall cleansing stone, helping to purify not only the physical body, but the subtle bodies as well, bringing balance and connection with the higher realms.
Work with Citrine during this Full Moon to support you and keep you balanced as you navigate through darker waters. Allow the positive energies of Citrine to encourage you to keep going when difficulties arise, knowing that it will help to purify and heal.
This variety of agate will assists you with taking decisive action in murky circumstances. It stirs passion, will, and reconnection to one’s deepest desires, while providing the courage necessary to take risks in order to fulfill those promptings.
Agate is a name given to a variety of banded Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz group. Fire Agate is predominantly white, with layers of creamy browns, blacks and grays. Some, like Fire Agate, include layers of yellow ochre, gold, scarlet and red. Agates are sometimes referred to as the earth rainbow because, in its various forms, the concentric bands in nature form nearly every color the earth can produce, including even a colorless form.
The name Agate comes from the river Achetes in Sicily, where these stones were found in ancient times. Agates in general have a slower vibration which supports a lasting connection with the results you are looking for. They stabilize the aura as well as cleansing it of negativity and aid in balancing. They are also used by South American Shaman as a pathway to the “other worlds”.
Fire Agate opens and enhances the Root Chakra (our sense of safety and security), and also connects to the Scorpionic realm of the Sacral Chakra (sensuality and sexuality); activating and energizing the physical body, while bringing divine clarity. It will be a helpful ally for this Full Moon if you are dredging through any issues or trauma related to the lower Chakras. It also works in the reverse, happily firing up our creativity and libido or lending us the fire/passion and drive to push through to the next level or to reach resolution with something (or someone) that needs to finally be “done.”
